This is an excerpt from a letter that went out to family and friends in early September 2020, announcing my decision to establish a Life Coaching practice.

Greetings!

Praying this finds you in good health and surprised often by Joy, sailing the fair winds and following seas of God’s love and mercy.

As part of my ongoing professional growth and development I am working toward certification as a Life Coach through Coaches Training Alliance (CTA) and credentialing by the International Coaching Federation (ICF). In July I officially began CTA’s six-month intensive course of studies, with the goal of launching Synergy Life Coaching before the end of the year. Thanks to technology, I will be able to serve clients both locally and around the world from right here in St. Augustine, Florida.

Becoming a Life Coach is a natural use of my professional training, education, and life experience. I am not retiring from the priesthood, nor am I rejecting my identity or calling. . . . Life Coaching opens the door for my professional and personal growth in service to others and is in harmony with all God has done and is doing in our lives.

Just in case you are wondering if there is anything you can do to be a part of this endeavor, you have some options:

Continue to intercede for us in prayer. All that happens of eternal value is a result of our prayers. Prayer manifests Reality, “on earth as it is in heaven.”

Volunteer yourself or refer a friend for a 50-minute Sample Coaching Session with me (no fee/no obligation). This would help me fulfill one of my certification requirements and give you an opportunity to experience the potentially powerful dynamic of Life Coaching.

As you can imagine, I have a special interest in serving Christian clergy and missionaries.  Thanks to the generosity of others, I will be able to offer them a reduced rate when needed.

To all of you who have lovingly both sailed and anchored with us over the years, we are forever grateful!
